Palomino RV Resort is a full-service RV park and glamping resort in Cullman, Alabama, located right off Interstate 65 at Exit 308. Sitting on 110 acres, Palomino offers paved, level RV sites with 30 and 50-amp hookups and full sewer service, as well as heated and air-conditioned glamping tents for guests who prefer a more comfortable outdoor experience. The resort is about 50 miles from Birmingham and 55 miles from Huntsville, making it a convenient overnight stop and a popular weekend destination for North Alabama families.

When you pull up at Palomino RV Resort, you'll be checked in at the General Store. It's here that you'll find a friendly staff excited about welcoming you to our resort. The store is stocked with essential goods and an assortment of Palomino souvenirs to help commemorate your stay with us.

Also, located in our general store is a laundromat and full-service private bathrooms. We welcome you to make yourself at home and enjoy the sofa lounge and game room while you refresh your clothes in the laundromat.

After years of laughs and wipeouts, we've said goodbye to Slippery Summit.

Palomino RV Resort no longer operates an on-site water park. Slippery Summit Aqua Park has permanently closed. For water park fun in Cullman, we recommend WildWater, North Alabama's newest water park located just minutes away, featuring a wave pool, thrill slides, and a lazy river. Palomino guests still enjoy our private lake, pickleball and basketball courts, hiking trails, and 110 acres of outdoor recreation right on property.
